A stalagmite has grown from the ground up and is mainly found in stalactite caves. Water droplets fall from stalactites on the floor, the shock strikes the waters down and a portion evaporates. This process repeats itself and after a long time an upward growing stalacmiet emerged.

The NGI promotes the interests of everyone involved in computer science. The society is a platform for Dutch ICT professionals and shares experience and knowledge with all members. By providing the NGI with a network, each member is encouraged to strengthen its content and share knowledge.
