NCV means Dutch Coeliac society
The NCV has been in place for 40 years for people with celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis. Currently there are 13,000 people, a number that increases every year. The NCV wants to make life easier with a gluten free diet. Members of the NCV have influence on the policy and quality of the service, this influence and control is enshrined in the statutes of the association. The NCV receives support from the Medical Advisory Board (MAR) for issues and in preventive aspects of celiac disease. The NCV is also involved in information (leaflets, awareness-raising evenings and the gluten-free Magazine), promoting contacts between members and stimulating scientific research. More information about the NCV can be read on the website.
