For Business Success: 3 Habits You Must Have to Make Your Brand ‘Human’

Consumers have become more skeptical of brands. With super-easy information access and occasional PR nightmares of the biggest businesses in the industry, they have every reason not to be too trusting. Thus, you need to do the dirty, grueling work of earning the public’s confidence. One sure way to achieve that? Letting them see the human side of your business. If you remain to be this faceless, distant, almost-robotic company, you can never win your audience. But if you strive to be human – authentic and personable – you’ll quickly boost the market’s trust and perhaps dodge some controversies along the way. That said, here are some strategies in humanizing your brand:

What is MrChadd?

Mr.Chadd is a modern way to help students with their school. A lot of children have difficulties with planning and doing their homework, this can be a problem just because of the time it takes, but also because they need some extra care. This care can be in the form of a person who checks what must be done or simply a sparring partner to some extra time from a professional coach of the subject.

Most companies that help students/children with these tasks are traditional and work with someone who comes at your house or you go to a designated place. Mr.Chadd works a little more modern: they offer help through a website and app. The coaches that work at MrChadd are mostly young students in the right field, but are qualified to teach younger people. The advantage of using students is that they have recent memory of the subject and can relate to the world of the younger people who need help on the subject. And both are of the app-generation so they know how to message eachother and use the app.

so if you need some tutoring or extra help with your homework, take a look at Mr.Chadd.

What is Absinthe?

Absinthe is a beverage with a kind of a history: it was said that I could make you hallucinate. There are stories that famous painter Vincent van Gogh cut off his ear under the influence of absinthe. The chemical compound thujone which is present in absinthe was blamed for these effects and the reason it was banned in the United States and several European countries in 1915. Recent studies show that this spirit is not any more dangerous than any other spirit.

Since the 1990s it has become a more popular drink, due to the lifting of the ban. Absinthe itself is high in alcohol (45% tot 74%) and is anise flavoured. It is derived from botanicals, flowers and leaves, anise, fennel and other herbs. Traditional absinthe has a green colour but is also available without colour. Because of the stories of hallucination and the green colour it is often referred to as The Green Fairy.

What is geocaching?

Geocaching is search with help from a GPS

Geocaching is actually the ancient treasure hunting, but here you go out of the GPS coordinates to find the treasure. It seems to have been invented in 2000 by Dave Ulmer, who had put a bucket of goodies in the forest. He mentioned the coordinates on a website about satellite navigation and invited people to search for the bucket. There was also the idea of getting something out of the bucket and stopping something new (and updating the log). After that it went fast and there are many geocaches hiding on the whole world. With websites to find the data of the geocache or even complete routes along different geocaches. The real fanatic has its own GPS device, but for the people who want to try it, it is also possible to use your mobile phone (often not as accurate as a real GPS) or you can rent a GPS at the local tourist office. The principle has not changed: you are looking for the treasure (geocache) and if you have found it, you will update the log and submit a new treasure. Meanwhile there are geocaches for the novice but also for the expert, where the treasure for the expert is often small, and which for the beginner is larger and easier to find. Read More
