IMF Means International Monetary Fund
The IMF is an organisation for money-related matters, and was founded in 1944 together with the World Bank. It is a sub organization of the United Nations, and has 185 Member States. The IMF focuses on:
- Promotion of monetary cooperation and stability.
- Monitoring economic growth and employment
- Offering (temporary) financiëe aid to countries to correct deficits
