PABX means Private Automatic Branch EXchange
A PABX is a telephone exchange used by a company, basically the same as a home phoneline power station but with the possibility to connect many more devices. The switchboard is the switch box between the Netlines (infrastructure) and the telephone sets (and other communication equipment) within an organization. The PABX regulates all incoming and outgoing telephone traffic. Previously, a distinction was made between PBX (not automatic) and PABX, but today no PBX power stations are present. How PABX works?
