FIFA means Fédération internationale de Football Association
FIFA is the international organization engaged in football and was founded in 1904. The national football associations of a number of European countries (the Netherlands, Spain, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden and Belgium) have established this organisation. Major international football tournaments such as the world Championship or the European Championship are under the supervision of FIFA. In addition to these tournaments, they also take decisions on doping cases (players ' suspensions) and stimulate football developments in less wealthy countries.
