WOB means law on public administration
The WOB is a law from 1980 that regulates the public disclosure of information by the Government. Disclosure is a duty of any governing body, and secrecy should be an exception. The law regulates that everyone has the possibility to request information about a governing body (municipality, Ministry). The law is about data disclosure: This can be a USB stick with information but can also be a picture, or a post it. The government itself has the final say on the form of data provision. Sensitive information (criminal journals, competitive information) are, in principle, excluded from the possibility of being able to rely on the WOB, but there are exceptions to this as well.
