What is billing?

Billing is sending out multiple invoices

An invoice is another word for account, so billing is sending accounts. In the business world it is mainly spoken of billing (or: billing), while in the non-business world one simply mentions an account. There are still some differences, because everyone can send each other an account (as long as both parties agree), an invoice must also meet certain requirements, for example:

  • Must have a follow-up invoice number
  • Must have a date (and be sent on that date
  • Date of delivery (if possible)
  • Name and Address
  • Company VAT Number
  • Description of Product/service
  • VAT amount in euros

The requirements of the Tax Office for an invoice can be found here.
