What is Fyra?

Fyra is a high-speed train

The name Fyra is reminiscent of fire and speed, especially in combination with the red colour of the train. Fyra is a brand name, and the trains driving this name are operated by NS HiSpeed and the SNCB. The Fyra uses the same high-speed line as the Thalys used. The international Fyra service is mainly in the news due to the problems and criticism of the train service: Failure of trains, major delays, etc. Much criticism has arisen because other direct IC trains have matured and the Fyra has higher costs, no subscription possibilities and even more things that are present in a normal train service.
