What does IMDB mean?

IMDB means Internet Movie database

The IMDB is an online database with information about actors, films, television series, etc. IMDB has been online since 1990, and has been purchased in 1998 by Amazon.com. When you look up information about a film, actor, director or anything else about a film, IMDB.com is the place to find this information. Everything is linked to each other so if you are looking for a movie, you can click on the main player again and you will see which movies have played even more. Also, there are often films that are still in production, under the working title. A visitor can vote on a film, which creates a list of the best-rated films (and also worst-rated films).
