What does Carpe Diem mean?

Carpe Diem means Pluk the day

It is a Latin phrase that wants to say as much as: enjoy today and do not think too much about yesterday or tomorrow. Enjoy life because you do not know what will bring the next day. The Roman poet Horace (65 BC) seems to be the first person to use this expression. Especially in times of infectious diseases, the proverb was beloved.
