What does CMM mean?

CMM stands for Capability Maturity Model and is a model that identifies the level of software development of an organization. The starting point is that we need to be constantly working on improving the development process. The CMM assumes that the execution of projects by an enterprise is at a certain stage of maturity, this is made clear by specifying in which of the 5 maturity levels the process is located. The five stages are:

  1. Initial
  2. Repeatable
  3. Defined
  4. Managed
  5. Optimizing
