Cosplay is descent from ' costume ' and ' play '. It is a Japanese subculture in which one is dressed to resemble as much as possible a favorite manga, anime or game character. It was created under the Otakujongeren (another Japanese subculture). In recent years, cosplay has been increasing in the European countries. Most people who do cosplay are perfectionist and therefore make everything themselves, to stay as close as possible to the original.
