DTPP means diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus and polio
The DTPP vaccine consists of vaccines against diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus and polio. The combination exists in Dutch since the 60ER years in the national vaccination (DTPP-jab). Diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus are caused by bacteria. Polio by a virus. The DTPP vaccine contains the harmlessly made bacteria and three different types of harmless polio virus. After injection, the body resists antibodies. If it comes into contact with the harmful pathogens, it can effectively combat it.
