Eclipse means eclipse
An eclipse is the cover of a star by another celestial body. In daily life, an eclipse is usually thought of a solar or lunar eclipse. When the moon, Sun and earth are on 1 line, the sun is covered by the moon and no longer visible. A large, complete solar eclipse (in which the sun is completely darkened) was last seen in the Netherlands on 11 August 1999 (and will be shown again in 2081). A partial solar eclipse is more common, the past century was 42 times the case.
