Fever means increased temperature

Fever is an increase in normal body temperature, this is often caused by inflammation. The fever is a means of the body to fight the infection, it is therefore not always advisable to use Koortsremmende agents. When there is a lot of trouble, or a high fever, it may be wise to do something about it. One generally speaks about an increase if the body temperature is higher than the 38c.
