MTW means Management Team water shortages
The Management Team is under the responsibility of the Secretary of State for infrastructure and the environment and meets at times of great protracted droughts. In July, August and September of 2003 this took place and in May 2011 began the next series of meetings on the drought. A consultation takes place under the direction of the public administration and also has representatives of several other bodies (KNMI, water boards, etc.). The task of the team is to discuss the rural water image and take decisions on measures to be taken in connection with the distribution of water in our country.
