NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organisation
Since 1949, NATO has been an official body with headquarters in Brussels with currently 28 member states. The English name is NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), and NATO and NATO, which are often used interconnected. It is a military treaty that regulates the mutual cooperation and defence of the Western countries and the United States. The emphasis is on the maintenance of peace, through Political and military directives contained in the Treaty. In addition, NATO is also acting in crisis areas, so that war can be avoided.
