POC means Proof Of Concept
With a POC it is meant that an idea, a concept or a product is quickly worked out as a demonstration. The idea or product is not fully worked out and made, but something is put together which should be the proof that something can do. Often, a POC is not complete, and no details are considered, there is a global thing being put together to show.
