Provisions is stock of foods
Actually, provisions is just food: the stock of food that one has on a journey. The foods/store your food that are required for that trip. If you are on a boat trip you should have enough food with you for the entire trip. And there's something extra for it if you stay longer. People often call their stock cabinet in-house also stock provisions.
