Taxonomy means classifying
Taxonomy is the division into groups, classifying certain things. In fact, everything can be classified as taxonomic (plates, animals, places, events, books, etc.). It is a dynamic system, which can be categorized differently using new insights or discoveries. Think, for example, of the bookcase or CD cabinet, which is initially in alphabetical order, and one year later perhaps by genre, or writer (and then often again alphabetically). It is mainly used in computer and biology atmosphere.
