WGP means drug Prices Act
On the basis of the WGP, the Minister for Health, welfare and Sport can set maximum prices for medicinal products. Twice a year it is examined whether there is a reason to re-establish these prices. Prices are calculated on the basis of prices in reference countries and specific policy for medicinal products. If a change is necessary, the maximum prices will be made known to the pharmacists and care institutions.
