Confetti is a whole bunch of paper fragments (sometimes also plastic, or foil) scattered over the crowd. Confetti is widely used on children's parties and carnival. The first use comes from 1891, when it was still manual cut out party decoration. Nowadays you can buy it ready and it is available in various forms.
