Floriade is a world horticultural exhibition
The Floriade is an exhibition held once every 10 (in the Netherlands), and the first exhibition was in 1960 in Rotterdam. In 2012, the Floriade in Venlo with the theme "Be part of the theatre in nature, get closer to the quality of life". In the Floriade area you can see gardens and pavilions of about 100 participants, from Dutch and international participants from the horticultural sector. It is a stage (for entrepreneurs and countries) to show new developments. The accent is on green and everything that has to do with it.
