What is a Beachwagon?

A beachwagon is a cart for children

A beachwagon is also called a bollard wagon, and is a two-axle cart that is towed by people. A beachwagon is often used to bring (small) children to another place, or to transport messages. A Beachwagon is equipped with pneumatic tyres and the front axle is also steering shaft. Generally the Beachwagon is carried out with a wooden container, sometimes also a canopy. In the past, the Beachwagon was mainly a boerenkar for transporting stuff. Nowadays the Beachwagon is mainly used on vacations and by the sea to transport the children, or to take provisions during a long walk.
