What is constipation?

Constipation is clogging

Constipation is a delayed/difficult bowel gait in which there is hard or k.p.-shaped stools. In these cases people sometimes speak of constipation. There is a blockage if there is less than 3 times a week stools (or if this is only possible by pressing hard). Not everyone has a common stool, one person goes twice a day, the other once every 2 days. In regular hard presses there can be hemorrhoids that can also be painful and cause blood loss. Constipation can be caused by a wrong diet in which there are too few fibres and too little drunk. Constipation can also be caused by diseases (spastic intestine, colon cancer) and certain medications (morphine for example). In children, a change of situation (new school, relocation) can also be the cause of constipation.
