What is screen time?

Screen time is the time behind a screen

Screen time is the time you spend watching a screen, whether it's a tablet, laptop, phone or television. The screen time is mainly something parents set up for their children: they don't want the child to sit behind one of these devices all day long and therefore set a time in which children are allowed to spend behind a screen. Children of this time do not know better, they grow up with the use of tablet, smartphone or television. And the digitization of life does not necessarily have to be bad, it can also be an educational development. There is of course a difference between playing games or watching a vlog and looking up information for a workpiece or speech. Many parents also make the difference between useful screen time and screen hang. Every child is of course different, so it is difficult to draw up guidelines that apply to every child, but it can certainly help to have clear agreements. For children under 8 years of age, the directive is about 1 hour per day, preferably distributed over several times. In children up to 12 years of age, it is usually about 2 hours of display time. BYOD means Bring Your Own Device

You used to have better stuff (computers, phones) than at home, since gadgets are so popular and accessible that it is increasingly common for people to have better (newer) stuff at home than at work. This is why BYOD is starting to become popular, and there are already companies that make a policy of making people take their own belongings. What does Jailbreak mean?

Jailbreak is escaping from jail

However, that is the translation from English. Nowadays, jailbreaking means cracking your hardware so you can do more with it. Since the advent of the IPhone, jailbreaking has become popular. Normally, the hardware (IPhone) is equipped with an operating system with limited capabilities. In the case of the iPhone you can only install applications from the itunes Store, after jailbreaking you can also install applications that are not in the itunes store. Jailbreaking is a fairly harmless process: a number of operating system files are modified (and can be rolled back if desired). The biggest reason to jailbreak is because more is made possible. When the APP store offers enough software, it is not necessary for most people to jailbreak their phone. Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEbCzkcrXJk
