Google AdWords is an online advertising service developed by Google, where advertisements are shown based on keywords that are determined by advertisers and cookie information of the visitor. Google Adwords will place an add where they think it has the most relevancy (and where it is most likely a user will click on the advertisement). An advertiser will pay only for the clicks that are generated, not the amount of views.
Google Adwords is a product you can use to help you sell products or services, promote your business or simply increase traffic to your site. A big advantage of Google Adwords is that you can start with a small investment: there is no minimum spending commitment and you control your own budget, where and when the advertisements will appear and you can measure the impact of the ads.
