KISS means Keep It Simple, Stupid
KISS is an English ofkorting that can be written in several ways (Keep It Short and Simple is another widely used). The principle comes from the programmer's world where it is used to prevent the writing of large, clumsy, complicated software. Nowadays it is also used in other fields, and especially the advertising and marketing world is now used often to indicate that the message is only good if you keep it simple.
