James Kimberley Corden, OBE (born 22 August 1978) is an English actor, writer, producer, comedian, television host and occasional singer

He hosts The Late Late Show with James Corden, a late-night television talk show on CBS.

Along with Welsh actress Ruth Jones, Corden co-created, co-wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey (2007–2010) for which he won the BAFTA Television Award for Best Comedy Performance. He was featured on the UK No.1 single Shout, along with British grime artist Dizzee Rascal, an unofficial anthem of the England football team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Appearing on the UK charity telethon Comic Relief in 2011, Corden created his Carpool Karaoke sketch when he drove around London singing songs with George Michael. Since 2009, Corden has presented the Brit Awards ceremony five times. He has presented the sports based comedy panel show A League of Their Own on Sky 1 since 2010.

In 2011, he played the lead part in the comedy play One Man, Two Guvnors, which transferred from the National Theatre to the West End and then to Broadway, and was also cinecast worldwide via National Theatre Live. For his performance in the Broadway run of the play, Corden won the 2012 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play.

Ireen Wüst (born 1 April 1986) is a Dutch long track allround speed skater

At the age of 19, on 12 February 2006, Wüst won the gold medal in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games 3000-meter event. She is the youngest Dutch Olympic champion in Winter Games history. Four years later in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games she won the 1500-meter event. In the 2014 Winter Olympic Games she won 2 gold and 3 silver medals. She is the most successful athlete of the Netherlands at the Winter Olympics. She is also a five-time world allround champion, a nine-time world single distance champion, and a four-time European allround champion. In 2014 she was elected by Reuters as the Sportswoman of the World.

Gavin Rossdale is known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He helped form Bush in 1992; upon its separation in 2002, he became the lead singer and guitarist for Institute, and later began a solo career. When performing solo, Rossdale plays songs from his musical libraries. He was ranked 75th in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader. In 2013 Rossdale received the British Academys Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement.

Gavin Rossdale was married to Gwen Stafani. In 2017 Gavin Rossdale was one of the judges of The Voice UK on ITV.

He is a five-time BAFTA TV Award winner for his comedy chat show The Graham Norton Show. Previously shown on BBC Two, it took the prestigious Friday night slot on BBC One from Jonathan Ross in 2010.

He also presents on BBC Radio 2 and is the BBC television commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest, which led Hot Press to describe him as the 21st centurys answer to Terry Wogan. Norton is known for his innuendo-laden dialogue and flamboyant presentation style. In 2012, he sold his production company, So Television, to ITV for around £17 million. In 2017 Graham Norton co-presents talentshow Let it Shine on the BBC.

Sven Kramer (Dutch pronunciation: (svɛn ˈkraːmər); born 23 April 1986) is a Dutch long track speed skater who has won an all-time mens record eight World Allround Championships as well as a mens record eight European Allround Championships

He is the Olympic champion of the 5000 meters in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 and won a record (for both men and women) 17 gold medals at the World Single Distance Championships; seven in the 5000 meters, four in the 10,000 meters, and six in the team pursuit. His 11 individual titles are a mens record. Kramer is the current world record holder in the 5000 m and the team pursuit (the latter alongside Jan Blokhuijsen and Koen Verweij), and broke the world record in each of those events, as well as in the 10,000 m, three times. By winning the 2010 World Allround Championship, Kramer became the first speed skater in history to win four consecutive world allround championships, and eight consecutive international allround championships. He has been undefeated in the 16 international allround championships he participated in since the 2006/2007 season. From November 2007 to March 2009 he was ranked first in the Adelskalender, but despite his dominance as an all-round skater has since been second on that list to Shani Davis by 0.2 to 0.3 points (seconds on the 500 m).

Douglas Noel Adams (11 March 1952 – 11 May 2001) was an English author, scriptwriter, essayist, humorist, satirist and dramatist

Adams is best known as the author of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which originated in 1978 as a BBC radio comedy before developing into a trilogy of five books that sold more than 15 million copies in his lifetime and generated a television series, several stage plays, comics, a computer game, and in 2005 a feature film. Adamss contribution to UK radio is commemorated in The Radio Academys Hall of Fame.

Adams also wrote Dirk Gentlys Holistic Detective Agency (1987) and The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul (1988), and co-wrote The Meaning of Liff (1983), The Deeper Meaning of Liff (1990), Last Chance to See (1990), and three stories for the television series Doctor Who; he also served as script editor for the shows seventeenth season in 1979. A posthumous collection of his works, including an unfinished novel, was published as The Salmon of Doubt in 2002.

David Brent is a white-collar office middle-manager and the principal character of the series; he is the general manager of the Slough branch of Wernham-Hogg paper merchants and the boss to most other characters in the series. Much of the comedy of the series centres on Brents many idiosyncrasies, hypocrisies, self-delusions and overt self-promotion.

In 2016 David Brent featured in feature film Live on the Road, following him in his dreams of becoming a rockstar. He also made an album under the same name.

The Golden Globe Award is an American accolade bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign

The annual formal ceremony and dinner at which the awards are presented are a major part of the film industrys awards season, which culminates each year with the Academy Awards.

The 73rd Golden Globe Awards, honoring the best in film and television in 2015, were broadcast live on January 10, 2016. Ricky Gervais hosted the show for the fourth time.
