Who is James Corden?

James Kimberley Corden, OBE (born 22 August 1978) is an English actor, writer, producer, comedian, television host and occasional singer

He hosts The Late Late Show with James Corden, a late-night television talk show on CBS.

Along with Welsh actress Ruth Jones, Corden co-created, co-wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey (2007–2010) for which he won the BAFTA Television Award for Best Comedy Performance. He was featured on the UK No.1 single Shout, along with British grime artist Dizzee Rascal, an unofficial anthem of the England football team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Appearing on the UK charity telethon Comic Relief in 2011, Corden created his Carpool Karaoke sketch when he drove around London singing songs with George Michael. Since 2009, Corden has presented the Brit Awards ceremony five times. He has presented the sports based comedy panel show A League of Their Own on Sky 1 since 2010.

In 2011, he played the lead part in the comedy play One Man, Two Guvnors, which transferred from the National Theatre to the West End and then to Broadway, and was also cinecast worldwide via National Theatre Live. For his performance in the Broadway run of the play, Corden won the 2012 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play.

He is the Olympic champion of the 5000 meters in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 and won a record (for both men and women) 17 gold medals at the World Single Distance Championships; seven in the 5000 meters, four in the 10,000 meters, and six in the team pursuit. His 11 individual titles are a mens record. Kramer is the current world record holder in the 5000 m and the team pursuit (the latter alongside Jan Blokhuijsen and Koen Verweij), and broke the world record in each of those events, as well as in the 10,000 m, three times. By winning the 2010 World Allround Championship, Kramer became the first speed skater in history to win four consecutive world allround championships, and eight consecutive international allround championships. He has been undefeated in the 16 international allround championships he participated in since the 2006/2007 season. From November 2007 to March 2009 he was ranked first in the Adelskalender, but despite his dominance as an all-round skater has since been second on that list to Shani Davis by 0.2 to 0.3 points (seconds on the 500 m).
