TKO means Technical Knockout
TKO is a term from the boxing world and means that the boxer can no longer safely go through, and thus the opponent has won with a technical knockout. TKO is also used in other martial arts. Nowadays, a TKO is increasingly being given, as a ring-doctor may also prescribe that a boxer should not continue boxing.
