What does 0day exploit mean?

0day exploit means Zero-day exploit

It is a vulnerability in a piece of software that is already being exploited before the software creator has been informed of the security issue. So there are no solutions (patches) for the problem at that time. A zero day exploit is therefore very dangerous and can cause a lot of damage.

Example of how a Word document can compromise a system using a 0-day exploit
