What does EYOF mean?

EYOF means European Youth Olympic Festival

The first edition of the EYOF (when it was called European Youth Olympic Days, eyof) took place in 1991 in Brussels. The EYOF is a biennial multi-sporting event for young athletes. The eyof is the only European multi sporting event and has both a summer edition and a winter edition. In 9 different Olympic disciplines (athletics, basketball, judo, tennis, volleyball, handball, gymnastics, cycling and swimming) young athletes go for the good, it's a taste for the real Olympics. The EYOF was founded from the Olympic Mind: a philosophy that raises and combines the qualities of body, willpower and spirit. Sport is mixed with culture and education and thus leads to the Olympic values: friendship, respect and Excel.
