What does FMCG mean?

FMCG means Fast Moving consumer goods

Fast Moving consumer goods is a broad concept, but it usually involves food, soap, cosmetics, toiletries, detergents, incandescents, etc. It is about the rapid circulation of the products as opposed to the durable goods (equipment that lasts for more than a year). Sometimes medicines are also included in FMCG products. Within the FMCG category, there is also often a distinction between real fast movers (milk, soda, etc.) and slow movers (herbs, canned food)
