What does generation House mean?

A generation home is a customizable home

A generation dwelling is not a dwelling where several generations (children, parents, grandparents) live in, but it is a dwelling that can be adapted to the life phase of the present inhabitants. In the media one often speaks about a generation house when it is actually a 2-generation house or a 3-generation dwelling. This is a house with more than 1 generation living in the house. Think of a family with small children who also take care of their parents and take the parents home. As a country, as we move towards the participation society, the Government is also increasingly assuming that parents take care of their grandparents. This can be in a nursing home but also in a 2 (of3) generation House.
