LCR means national Coordination Centre for Travellers ' advice
The LCR deals with Travellers ' advice (prevention of sickness in travellers), and does this by advising travel agents, tour operators, Medici and other people in health. The LCR formulates quality criteria for vaccination agencies and training and also sets out guidelines. These guidelines are distributed to everyone who is connected to the LCR. The guidelines and protocols are drawn up in various working groups (vaccination Working Group, malaria prophylaxis workgroup, Nurses Traveller Advisory Working Group and a kwaliteitsconsilium) in which experts participate.
