What does liturgy mean?

Liturgy means conscription

The liturgy comes from the Greek Leitourgia: service provision for the state. From the New Testament, liturgy is to be given as serving or service to the church. In a larger whole, liturgy means the whole of the prescribed prayers, manuals and ceremonies that are a worship. Liturgical refers to everything that has to do with the liturgy: robes, books, colours, music, etc.
