SWN means Stichting Welzijn Nieuwegein
The SWN is a well-being organization that organizes various activities for young and old in Nieuwegein (and surroundings). The activities are recreational in nature, but they also focus on people who may be struggling with circumstances. The foundation has as a base many volunteers (about 600) who organize and execute a large part of the activities. There are also courses and meetings that aim to improve the viability and increase the participation of all inhabitants. More information and an overview of the activities can be found on the website.
