VNG means Association of Dutch municipalities
The springs have three goals:
- Its members in the fulfilment of the administrative duties
- Making agreements with other authorities on working conditions in the public sector
- Interests of its members associated with the administrative duties
The Association exists since 1912 and has a number of policy committees advising the Board. Each committee has a maximum of 20 members and is appointed by the General Assembly of the VNG.
