The Guard service is a service of the NCSC
The NCSC's Watch service is 24/7 active and is aware of the current threats and is in action if necessary. The Guard service uses a (self-developed) tool called Taranis. This monitoring tool scans thousands of messages a day from a variety of sources to detect threats and vulnerabilities. Depending on the threat and vulnerability, a further investigation can be initiated or warnings are sent to the world to warn people.
