Egg tapping is two eggs beating each other
With egg tapping, it is intended that you both take a (boiled) egg in your hand. First you have to hit the tops against each other, and then the bottoms. The one with the egg that is not broken has won and gets the broken egg as a trophy (to eat). It is a tradition that is held in a number of countries at Easter. It is also called ' Hecken ' or ' Guffen ' (Austria) or ' War of the eggs ', or Kam in some regions.
