MWC means Mobile World Congress
The MWC is an annual congress on the Mobile World, held in Barcelona in recent years. Formerly known as 3GSM World Congress. Again, new mobile phones are often made known to the world. Many manufacturers show their latest phones and prototypes at this fair, often in January it is quite quiet with new models, because they wait for the fair which is held halfway/late February.
