What does HPO mean?

HPO means High Performance organization

A HPO is an organization that achieves better results over a longer period (5 to 10 years) than competitors (or similar organisations). A HPO does this by adapting well and quickly to changes in the environment, continuously improving the core competencies, considering the employees as main assets and focusing on the long term. An important book on this subject is ' In Search of Excellence ' where it is written that high performance is often not a lasting thing: the solution is a learning organisation where we collaborate on innovation. A HPO organization is often simple and flat and the strategy is clearly distinctive from competitors. Years of research has been carried out by the High Performance organizations of the past 30 years: Here are 5 determining success factors that are directly related to the success of the organization.
