MSC means Master Of Science
The abbreviation MSC comes from the Latin and actually means master in the exact sciences. It is a university degree in the Bachelor-Master system. The degree Master with the Science specification is used to indicate that it involves applied sciences (engineering, engineering studies), Physical sciences (science, mathematics) or social sciences (economics, sociology, Psychology). Some universities also have the degree of ' Master of Science ' to graduates who do a special research master (so it is a master-after-master).
